Storyline : Sauron's forces and his allies increase. The Ringwraiths return in a more frightening form. Saruman's army of Uruk Hai is ready to launch an assault against Aragorn and the people of Rohan. However, the Fellowship is broken and Boromir is dead. With the little hopes left, Frodo and Sam march on into Mordor, unprotected. However a number of new allies join with Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, Pippin and Merry and they defend Rohan and attack Isengard. In the meanwhile Sauron's troops marches towards the City of Gondor for the War of the Ring is about to begin.

Although Mort believes things can be solved by showing him his original version which was published two2 years before Shooter in 1995, he fails to get the original copy before the time stipulated by Shooter. Strange events prevent Mort from finding the original, and Mort tries to investigate who is Shooter and if he is responsible for all that went wrong.
