Storyline : Jennifer Peters, a well-known police profiler and author of serial killers, becomes the target of a demented psychopath, the, who pushes his victims beyond their limits with cryptic riddles and impossible time lines. He is particularly cruel to Jennifer, forcing her to see her own brother being murdered gruesomely. Jennifer who has been emotionally wounded grasps the chance to work the case of Kevin Parson, a shy, naive seminary student who looks to be Riddle Killer next victim. The Riddle Killer orders Kevin to confess his sin and is unmerciful calling riddle after riddle and planting bomb after bomb to kill innocent victims. Subsequently Kevin's childhood friend Samantha, an Insurance Investigator and a former FBI agent tries to protect Kevin. The Killer toys with Kevin, Samantha and Jennifer, ramming them against a ticking clock to save lives. Now Kevin's past comes into question regarding the sin, the relationship of the Killer and Kevin and who was to die. This is the world where nothing is what it seems.

Storyline : On thanksgiving, Nathan Conrad (Douglas) is invited by his friend Dr. Sachs (Platt) to look into the case of a mentally disturbed girl, Elisabeth (Murphy). Simultaneously, Patrick (Bean) a released convict breaks into an apartment from where he can monitor Dr. Conrad's apartment. He kidnaps Conrad's daughter and uses her as a bait to get him to retrieve a 6 digit number from Elisabeth's memory. The 6 digit number is the number of Elisabeth's father’s grave which has a gem worth $10 million. Conrad has to kidnap Elisabeth from the Asylum. He confides in Elisabeth by revealing his daughter’s kidnapping to her. The story is about how in dire circumstances, Conrad is able to gain Elisabeth’s trust. Elisabeth is able to accurately recall events from her childhood and both Conrad and his young patient correlate the number, the kidnappings, and Patrick’s involvement with Elisabeth's father in the past.
